Peppermint-Stevia Tea

Traditionally mint tea would be sweeten with about 2 teaspoons of sugar per person. In this recipe I use fresh stevia leaves in order to avoid these extra 700 teaspoons of sugar per year (if you drink a cup daily;)

Cooking Time

5 minutes


2 cups


  • 1/2 l filtered boiling water
  • 1 t green tea
  • 1 handful fresh peppermint leaves
  • 1 T fresh stevia leaves (or a pinch of powdered stevia)


  1. Pour hot water over green tea and peppermint and stevia leaves. Let steep for five minutes.
  2. Strain into serving glasses and enjoy.
