Well-Being for Moms

Keto Filling Green Smoothie Template

Prep Notes

With this smoothie you won't feel hungry! It's full of nutrients and healthy fats to keep you full for hours. Add a little fruit for children or if you can't deal with the savory taste. Think 1/2 fruit per person, too much sugar, whether natural, sabotages the keto effect (body running on fat for energy rather than on sugars). A bit of stevia is another possibility.

I use this smoothie a lot as a breakfast solution for clients who are on a journey to break free from sweet carvings or alleviate health issues especially with thyroid, adrenals, insulin; gut bacteria imbalances, or to lose weight.

1 portion

  • 1 c+ of healthy fats (1 c coconut milk + 2 T coconut oil + some nuts + 1/2 avocado or 2 T chia gel)
  • 1 c leafy greens (optionally also some herbs)
  • 1 c other vegetables (cucumber, celery, carrots, zucchini...)
  • sea salt to taste
  • 1 c of ice cubes
  • optional: 1 scoop of pea protein powder or an egg (raw or cooked)
  • stevia to taste if you must or 1/2 a banana or other fruit

  1. Blend all in a blender until smooth.
  2. Enjoy.
