Gluten-free Chocolate Cake

Easy, rich, moist, super satisfying chocolate cake. All family favorite.

Good double portion for a family of four


  • 1 1/3 c almond meal
  • 1/3 c cacao powder
  • 1/3 sugar cane
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/3 kefir
  • 1/2 t baking soda
  • 1 t ACV

  • 1 c frozen berries
  • 3 squares dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 t white powdered sugar


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Whisk all wet ingredients well with a wire whisk - egg, smashed banana, kefir, also soda and vinegar.
  3. Measure all dry ingredients (almond meal, cacao, sugar), add them in, mix everything well into semi-pourable batter.
  4. Butter your baking pan (I used coconut oil).
  5. Pour the batter in the pan, place berries and chocolate chunks on top.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes.
  7. When cooled down, sprinkle with white sugar.
