Cough Remedy (tea)


  • cup of water, boiled
  • 1/2 tsp licorice root
  • 1/2 tsp fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp (or a bag) of tea of your choice (I use ginger-lemon-nettle mix)


  1. Cover herbs with boiled water and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain and drink while hot.
  3. Use 3x daily or as you feel need for it until cough subsides (couple of days).
  4. Make it less gingery for children, and a shotglass is enough.
