Banana-Spinach Green Smoothie for Kids


Cooking Time

5 minutes

Yields

4 portions

Ingredients

2 cups water

2 cups bananas (about 2-3)

1 cup spinach (loosely packed)

1 T lemon juice (about 1/2 small lemon)

1/4 cup ice


Optional: a bit of parsley for extra nutrients, and/or 2 T of nuts, seeds (see options here)

Directions

Add water in first, then everything else, blend, serve. 

If any leftovers, bottle it in a fitting size with minimum air in it, and have it for snack later, even lunch if busy (yes, I do).
