Homemade Peanut Butter

Prep Notes

Just crushed peanuts, that's what it is.


  • 500 g roasted peanuts
  • 1 tsp salt (if you wanna know all about salt, it comes up as #2 in my newsletter)
  • high power blender such as Vitamix with tamper stick (you could use any other method to grind it, such as food processor but it'll take more time and nerves)


  1. Put all the peanuts in your blender, add salt and grind until smooth or to your likeness. It will go through a dry, powdery stage, before becoming creamy. Hold in there. In Vitamix this takes a minute or two.
  2. Transfer to a clean jar and store in a dry place indefinitely.
