- cup of water, boiled
- 1/2 tsp licorice root
- 1/2 tsp fresh minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp (or a bag) of tea of your choice (I use ginger-lemon-nettle mix)
- Cover herbs with boiled water and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Strain and drink while hot.
- Use 3x daily or as you feel need for it until cough subsides (couple of days).
- Make it less gingery for children, and a shotglass is enough.
